Rock Island Clean Line, LLC, a subsidiary of Clean Line Energy (CLE), has filed a case with the Supreme Court of Illinois against a ruling of the Third District Appellate Court in Ottawa against the Rock Island Clean Line project.

The Third District Appellate Court in Ottawa has released a ruling reversing the Illinois Commerce Commission’s (ICC) decision to grant the certificate of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) to build the 121-mile (194.8-km) stretch of Rock Island Clean Line project.
