FERC approves SPP’s revised open access transmission tariff methodology
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued an order approving Southwest Power Pool, Inc.’s (SPP) proposal to eliminate the transmission revenue credits for certain non-capacity network upgrades, and to exempt firms’ and non-firms’ short-term point-to-point transmission service requests from incurring payment obligations for creditable system upgrades.
