Tanzania utilities inaugurate Zanzibar Interconnector Project
Tanzania Electricity Supply Company (TANESCO) and Zanzibar Electricity Corporation (ZECO) have inaugurated the 138 kV submarine cable from the Ubungo substation in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to the Mtoni substation on Zanzibar’s Unguja Island under the Zanzibar Interconnector Project.
