The National Trust for Historic Preservation and Preservation Virginia, both non-profit organisations engaged in the preservation of historic sites throughout the US and Virginia respectively, have filed an appeal with the US District Court for the District of Columbia, challenging the latter’s May 2018 decision in favour of the Surry–Skiffes Creek transmission line project.
