Indian POWERGRID to connect remote Ladakh areas to national grid
In a bid to boost power infrastructure in the Ladakh region, the Indian grid developer, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), has started work on an INR12 billion project to connect the northern-most tip of the country the Nubra valley and highly remote central area the Zanskar valley with the national power grid.
