The project was awarded to the developer as Lot Q, won by the consortium of China’s CEE Power (49 per cent share) and Brazil’s Consórcio Braferpower-Brafer Construções Metálicas S.A. (51 per cent share), during Auction No. 13/2015 hosted by Agencia Nacional de Energia Eletrica (ANEEL) in April 2016.
