As per India's Empowered Committee on Transmission under the Ministry of Power (MoP), comprising of representatives from the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Planning Commission and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), this project is to be awarded through the tariff-based competitive bidding process.
