The US Department of Agriculture (USDA), through its Electric Infrastructure Loan and Loan Guarantee programme, has announced USD309 million worth of investment in 16 infrastructure projects for the expansion and refurbishment of rural electric infrastructure across the states of Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, New Mexico, Ohio, South Dakota and Washington.
