The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has approved a grant for undertaking a feasibility study led by the West African Power Pool (WAPP) for a 225 kV transmission line to connect Ivory Coast with Liberia. The aim of the project is to expand access to electricity in West Africa through new transmission infrastructure.
