Under the project, DWP has proposed to set up a 15.6 km, 230 kV transmission line as a combination of above- and below-ground installations along the Canadian Pacific rail corridor to connect its 99.1 MW wind project, to be located in the township of Melancthon, Ontario, with BC Hydro's high voltage grid.
