Seaway 7 signs LoA for UK’s Moray West OFW

The UK-based subsea engineering, construction and services company, Seaway 7 (the renewables business unit of Subsea 7 S.A), has signed a letter of award (LoA) with Moray Offshore Windfarm (West) Limited to begin engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPIC) works for the inter-array grid cables of the 860 MW Moray West offshore wind (OFW) farm.

Greek ADMIE awards contract to Mytilineos for 400 kV Greece–Bulgaria interconnector

The Greek Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), Anexartitos Diacheiristis Metaforis llektrikis Energiasis (ADMIE), has awarded a EUR10 million contract to Greek Mytilineos (an industrial company functioning in metallurgy, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), electric power and gas trading) for the construction of a new 400 kV high-voltage overhead line between the Nea Santa and Maritsa East substations.

UK’s JDR Cable Systems awards contract for German Arcadis Ost 1 wind farm

The UK’s cable manufacturer, JDR Cable Systems Limited, has awarded a contract to the Netherlands-based Vos Prodect Innovations (VPI) BV for the supply of cable hang-off systems for the Arcadis Ost 1 offshore wind farm in Germany. JDR is responsible for supplying the inter-array cables for the wind farm while Global Offshore will install them.
