Georgia's Joint Stock Company (JSC) Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) has successfully completed the construction of the 500 kV Marneuli substation. With this, GSE has also marked the completion of Georgia's Transmission Grid Strengthening Project worth USD50 million, financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
