Swiss-based power and automation technology group ABB Limited has been awarded a USD20 million turnkey contract to build an air-insulated switchgear (AIS) outdoor switchyard Maua III in Manaus, the capital city of the Amazonas province by the state owned utility Eletrobras Amazonas Energia, part of the Eletrobras Group.
