Swiss-Swedish equipment manufacturer ABB has won orders aggregating over USD300 million to supply high voltage direct current (HVDC) converters, converter transformers and components for the 800 kV Jiuquan-Hunan transmission line and 800 kV Shuozhou (Shanxi)-Huaian (Jiangsu) line.
