The UK’s transmission system operator (TSO), National Grid, and its Danish counterpart, Energinet, have awarded UK’s construction company Balfour Beatty, a GBP90 million contract to deliver the onshore civil works for the Viking Link project—a high voltage direct current (HVDC) link between the UK and Denmark.
