Canada-based Belo Sun Mining, once of the biggest gold extraction companies in the country, is considering entering into a partnership with Norte Energia to construct the transmission line to carry power from the Brazilian 11,233 MW Belo Monte HPP. Norte Energia is the consortium in charge of the installation and operation of the Belo Monte HPP.
