Ecuador's state-owned power company, La Empresa Pública Estratégica Corporación Eléctrica del Ecuador (CELEC EP), has selected Chinese Changjiang Institute of Survey Planning Design and Research for providing design consultancy services for the Ecuadorian section of the 500 kV Peru–Ecuador Interconnection project.
