The project aims to transmit 6,000 MW of electricity by evacuating power from generating plants in Raigarh, Champa and Raipur regions of Chhattisgarh, to consumption centres like Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and adjoining areas in northern India.
