The Government of Argentina has awarded a contract to China Electric Power Equipment and Technology (CET), a subsidiary of state-owned State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), to engineer, design, supply and construct a USD1.1 billion project aimed at improving the 500 kV grid network in Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA) or the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.
