China's power grid developer China Southern Power Grid (CSG) has put into operation the ±350 voltage source converter (VSC)-high voltage direct current (HVDC) unit associated with the Luxi back-to-back HVDC project to link Yunnan Power Grid (YPG) with the company's main grid.
