China's state-owned grid operator State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) has awarded the contract for the first batch of an ultra-high voltage (UHV) converter valve package, to the joint venture (JV) of Beijing Sifang Automation Company Limited-ABB Power Systems Limited.
