Dairyland Power Cooperative has received approval from US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) to rebuild a 65 year-old, 13-mile (21 km) transmission line between La Crosse and Trempealeau counties through the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge.
