Duke-American Transmission Company (DATC) (jointly owned by Duke Energy Corporation and American Transmission Company LLC) and the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) have planned to launch an open solicitation on April 15, for up to 600 MW of bi-directional electric transmission capacity on the proposed San Luis Transmission Project (SLTP) that is being developed in California’s San Joaquin Valley. The developer will accept the proposals during April 15 to May 15, 2019.
