United Arab Emirates' Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) has awarded a transmission contract to ABB for the construction of a high voltage gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) substation to integrate power from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum solar park to the high voltage grid.
