The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, has awarded contracts for the construction of the 380 kV Yanbu 4 substation and associated overhead transmission line (OHTL) in Saudi Arabia, to General Electric (GE) and National Power Construction Corporation (NPCC) respectively. Doosan is the turnkey contractor for the Yanbu 4 Independent Water Producer (IWP) project.
