State-owned Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has awarded an EGP1.2 million contract to a consortium comprising of Chinese NARI Group Corporation, Egytech Cables (a subsidiary of Egyptian Elsewedy Electric), Chinese Huawei International and Huawei Technologies (Egypt) for upgradation of the Cairo Regional Control Centre (RCC) on a turnkey basis.
