Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the European Union (EU) has stated that it would urgently assess options for emergency synchronisation of Ukraine’s Integrated Power System (IPS) with the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity’s (ENTSO-E) system, possibly within the next few weeks.
