Siemens has won a contract from the Slovenian power generator Termoelektrarna Šoštanj d.o.o for an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-funded project. Siemens will design, manufacture, supply, assemble, test and commission the equipment for the 400 kV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) switchyard at the Šoštanj thermal power plant (TPP).
