Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) is seeking international contractors for the construction of a 185 km long, 330 kV Prestea-Kumasi overhead line and the 330/161 kV Kumasi substation. The scope of work also entails installation of a smart grid direct load control (DLC) pilot system, conducting a feasibility study, and training for further expansion of the smart grid DLC system. The last date for submission of bids is September 6, 2013.
