A consortium led by Iberdrola will be submitting a bid for the construction and operation of the Kimal–Lo Aguirre high-voltage direct current (HVDC) project in Chile. Iberdrola will have a 60 per cent stake in the consortium, which also includes Celeo—owned by the Spanish company Elecnor, and the Dutch pension fundAlgemene Pensioen Groep (APG).
