The Idaho Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has rejected the proposed merger between the Toronto-based Hydro One Limited and Washington-based Avista Corporation, stating that it has received approximately 650 written comments from various people, including Avista’s customers, most of whom had opposed the merger.
