A massive power outage was observed across Mumbai on February 27, 2022 as a result of a grid failure, which also disrupted the city's local train services for some time. This is the first power outage since October 2020, when there was a major grid disruption. This time power outages were reported in South Mumbai, Chembur and Govandi.
