Italian cable maker Prysmian Group will undertake a USD190 million multi-phased project to upgrade the power transmission system of Washington DC, which will help improve the system reliability, reduce the risk of storm-related outages, expand the network capacity to support the use of solar energy and other customer-generated solutions, as well as support the rapid residential and commercial growth in the region.
