ITC Transmission, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novi-based ITC Holdings, has energised the first phase of the 345 kV Thumb Loop project on time and within the estimated budget. Under the first phase, a 62 mile (100 km) transmission line has been built from the Bauer station in Tuscola County to the Rapson station in Huron.
