Latin American Electricity Transmission Report and Database, 2025-34

The first edition of the Latin American Electricity Transmission Report and Database will be released in June 2025. The comprehensive report will analyse growth and investment opportunities in the high-voltage electricity transmission sector (110 kV and above levels) across 14 countries. It will feature key developments, trends, and the latest data and statistics from 2006 to 2024, as well as growth projections up to 2034.

The report will have five distinct sections.

Part 1 will include an introduction to the report and an Executive Summary highlighting key findings.

Part 2 will analyse the performance of the Latin American high-voltage electricity transmission industry over the past decade, along with forecasts and expected growth for 2025–2034. It will examine the key developments and trends influencing the industry, identify the main growth drivers, and provide an outlook for the sector.

Part 3 will offer detailed profiles of the 14 countries, each containing the following data and analysis:

• Historical generation capacity and production (2006–2024)
• Forecasted demand and generation capacity additions (2025–2034)

Part 4 will provide sources, methodology and list of abbreviations.

Part 5 of the report will be a detailed database containing data and statistics at both the regional and country levels for 2006–2024, along with forecasts for 2025–2034, presented in a tabular format.

Part 1-4 will be in a PowerPoint format (converted to PDF) and Part 5 will be an Excel database.
