Lithuania’s power transmission system operator (TSO), Litgrid, has reported that the planning work programme of the ‘North-western and eastern electricity transmission network connection project of special national importance’ has been approved. This includes the construction of the 330 kV Darbėnai–Varduva–Mūša and Panevėžys–Mūša power transmission lines, and of the 330 kV Varduva transformer substation.
