Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division (MLGW)—a municipal utility providing electricity, gas and water to customers in Shelby County, Tennessee—acting through its Board of Commissioners, has recently issued a Request for Proposals (RfPs) to solicit submissions from qualified vendors to construct a set of 500 kV and 230 kV substations and transmission lines (interconnection projects) in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas.
