The private transmission network concessionaire the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) and its stake-owner State Grid of China Corporation (SGCC), China's biggest transmission network operator, have spent around PHP17 billion since 2009 on improvement of the power transmission network in the Philippines.
