Delay in receiving all the required approvals has postponed the completion date of the Northern Pass Transmission Line Project to 2019. The project was proposed in 2010, with an in-completion date in 2015. However, the environmental impact statement (EIS) of the project has not yet been released by Department of Energy (DoE).
