Work on Pakistan's first direct current (DC) transmission project connecting Matiari and Lahore has been completed, and the line is ready to be energised by the Pak Matiari–Lahore Transmission Company Limited (PMLTCPL)—a special purpose vehicle (SPV) formed for the execution and completion of this project in Pakistan.
