Pattern Energy Group LP hosted a public meeting in West Point, Mississippi, for its Southern Cross transmission project, under which the company will add a high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission tie between the network of Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and the transmission grid of southeastern US by 2019.
