A consortium of Philippine power distributors, including Manila Electric Company (Meralco) and Batangas II Electric Cooperative (BATELEC II), has sought the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) approval for purchasing assets of the state-owned transmission grid owner National Transmission Corporation (TransCo) worth PHP51.934 million in the province of Batangas.
