Private concessionaire of Philippine's high voltage network National Grid Corporation of Philippines (NGCP) is currently installing a 230 kV transmission line along the Santiago-Tuguegarao city stretch, which will serve as an alternate power line for the north corridor in case of power interruption affecting the existing 69 kV lines.
