The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) of the Philippines has approved the first phase of the PHP24 billion Leyte-Mindanao Interconnection Project (LMIP) proposed by National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), the private concessionaire of the country's transmission network.
