Russia’s transmission system operator (TSO) Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System (FGC UES) has completed the first stage of modernisation of the 282 MVA, 330 kV Derbent substation, aimed to ensure electricity supply to the southern part of the Republic of Dagestan, including Derbent city, which houses a population of more than 120,000 individuals.
