The US Department of Interior (DoI) has approved a 0.8 mile (1.28 km) stretch of the 14 mile (22.54 km), 138 kV transmission line, which was proposed by San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) to connect the new East County (ECO) substation with the existing Boulevard substation in California.
