German equipment major Siemens has won a turnkey contract from the Abu Dhabi Transmission and Despatch Company (TRANSCO), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA), which is the owner of Abu Dhabi's power generation and transmission grid, to supply a high voltage grid substation at Mirfa in Abu Dhabi.
