According to comments filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state utility regulators, and utility companies such as NextEra Energy Resources and Alliant Energy, support the Midcontinent Independent System Operator's (MISO) proposal to allow sub-regional cost allocation for certain transmission lines.
