International competitive bids are invited for the supply of two units of high voltage direct current (HVDC) voltage source converter (VSC), one in the UK and one in France, with the capacity to connect with the 2x700 MW converter stations (2 balanced monopoles) at the receiving end and an operating voltage of ±320 kV.
