Limited transmission capacity of the 220 kV Pan De Azúcar-Las Palmas line in Chile's central Sistema Interconectado Central (SIC) grid is restricting the expansion of the 1,000 MW Talinay wind farm in Region IV. The wind project is being developed by Italy's Enel Green Power.
